TestimonialsI had tried reflexology on holiday but had never viewed it as any more that a pleasant foot massage that made you feel relaxed. I only discovered its true benefits after being diagnosed with a brain tumour. For 3 years I had suffered loss of feeling in parts of my body and developed fits, but doctors always concluded that I was stressed and depressed. Being constantly told I was depressed and not understanding what I had to be depressed about I really did become depressed. I was physically and mentally run down, constantly tired yet not able to sleep, always catching colds, and generally finding it difficult to relax. Looking for something to help me relax I decided to try reflexology and was amazed at its physical affects on me. Reflexology can’t cure a brain tumour, I needed an operation for that but it has really helped me regain my feeling of well being and mental confidence. The level of relaxation I have at each session makes me feel like my whole body has been reset and rebalanced. My immune system is as good as it’s ever been and I find I can better deal with the physical problems I still have after my operation. After some persuasion I convinced my wife to try it and she is now also a convert. I would recommend Lynne’s reflexology to anybody because she is a master of the art and whether you have health problems or not it helps body and mind. You should think of reflexology as a massage of the sole. (Sorry I had to get that in) Robert – Staines I suffered with migraines on a regular basis for some time and I had no relief from painkillers or prescription drugs from my GP. After having a course of 8 reflexology sessions with Lynne my migraines decreased and then stopped. I still have reflexology treatments with Lynne once a month and not only have my migraines stopped but I have noticed that my hay fever symptoms have decreased year on year. I really enjoy my reflexology sessions with Lynne and I always feel the stress lifting during treatment. This is a great way to improve my general wellbeing. Debbie I have always been interested in complementary therapies and reflexology appealed to me, because I felt it would be lovely to have someone to massage my feet while I relaxed. When I first came to see Lynne I didn’t have high expectations I was taking a lot of medication for high blood pressure and have been for the last eight years. I also had various aches and pains. By the end of the first session with Lynne I felt completely relaxed and my blood pressure started to come down fort he first time in years. My Dr; reduced my medication and I am to reduce it further. Also my aches and pains don’t seem to bother me so much and I really look forward to my fortnightly visits. Pauline Eldridge – Chertsey A series of Reflexology has helped me overcome Vertigo, which is brought on when I am under stress and pressure.. Having recently had a severe attack of Vertigo I embarked on a course of treatments with Lynne. Her skill and expertise were really put to the test as during my treatments my stress levels were stretched to the limits, as my father was terminally ill and in a hospice. Seeing Lynne kept me calm and grounded; I believe that without her and reflexology I would certainly have had another attack. Jen – Staines I have been having Reflexology for over two years and have found it very beneficial. I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 15 years ago and have progressed to a secondary progressive stage. I started coming to see Lynne as I have always been interested in Reflexology and know that there are benefits from this treatment. When I first came to see Lynne 2 years ago my right leg from the knee down was purple. This worried me as I knew that I was losing all feeling and the circulation was poor. After coming to see Lynne for a few months my right leg is now the same colour as my left leg, but I have to be careful because if I miss an appointment (I go every two weeks) my right leg starts to go a lovely shade of pink! The other benefits from reflexology is that you feel so relaxed and even when I’m under the weather I always want to come as it lifts me for the day. I have stopped taking all the medication the hospital put me on as it made me feel so ill but Reflexology is a natural treatment that I will never stop! Tracy – Staines I suffered from a stiff neck and 'stress' pain in my chest both bought on, I think, from a very demanding job. Following one visit to Lynne for an hour's reflexology session, I walked away without the pains. I found it unbelievable, but it worked and I really swear by this treatment. originally went to see Lynne, about 3 years ago as my husband had bought me a voucher, for reflexology. I was sceptical, before I went, but, having spent an hour in the chair I haven't looked back. Lynne surprised me by informing me that one of my shoulders didn't seem quite right. I had strained it whilst swimming and had forgotten to tell her! Kim I began having reflexology, with Lynne, following a serious ankle injury in 2003, since then I have continued with my monthly "Treat" which has become a necessary part of my well being. I also believe my monthly sessions assisted my pregnancy after a diagnosis of early menopause. The sessions are relaxing, calming, healing and sometimes a great opportunity for a good old chat. Viki Johnston Imogen, 17 I have suffered with bouts of insomnia throughout my childhood, this often is worse approaching exams but sometimes I have several nights of sleeplessness without any impending worrying event. I have tried everything in the past; herbal teas, tablets and hypnosis CDs but nothing has helped like the course of six reflexology treatments I’ve had with Lynne. I am sleeping much better and find it easier, not only going to sleep, but remaining asleep throughout the night. Reflexology is very relaxing; I often fall asleep during the treatment. Reflexology can also indicate other problems that you may not be aware of, for instance Lynne told me that I was dehydrated and I have been drinking more since to prevent future problems. My exams are approaching and I will have a top up session in the week before to relax me, I am confident that I will be able to concentrate on my exams, and not on my lack of sleep. Maternity Reflexology testimonialsI visited Lynne on a regular basis throughout my first pregnancy. The reflexology made me feel completely relaxed and it was good to have some 'me' time. Lynne was able to work on my feet to keep me relaxed and nearer the end of the pregnancy worked on setting up my body to cope with labour. On my exact due date I went into labour, worked through the early contractions and then drove myself to hospital - within an hour of arriving I gave birth to a beautiful daughter. The birth was straightforward and I managed to get through it without any drugs. I feel that my experience was down to the regular reflexology preparing my body and would recommend it to every pregnant woman. Since having our daughter my husband and I continue to to visit Lynne - reflexology just chills me out and I always have a fantastic night's sleep after the treatment. Emma - Staines I have known Lynne for nearly 6 years. During my first pregnancy I developed a condition called Obstetric Cholestasis (OC) and I was told by my doctor that I had a 90% chance of getting it again in my next pregnancy. The condition is very serious, leading to the possible death of the baby during the third trimester. Reflexology & my pregnancy Massage testimonials
